A late baroque style sterling silver centerpiece bowl, most likely English, early 20th century in the form of a 17th century wine cistern, oval with gadroon base, two female caryatid handles, removable glass liner and silver-plated flower grid the centerpiece is hallmarked sterling as shown! The centerpiece measures 20 inches by 11 inches & 7 inches in height. The weight of the centerpiece without its liner & grid is 120 troy ounces.

Impressive American coin silver covered tureen, by John & James Cox New York, circa 1840, floral-and-leaf handle supported by bed of acanthus leaves on domed oblong cover, resting on pedestal fitted with original fully marked coin silver liner with well flanked by acanthus-laden handles and centering vacant wreath cartouche; tureen and liner marked with maker's punch: J & I Cox. 14 inches in height, 15 and 1/2 inches in length, and 10 and 3/4 inches in width, and weighing 135 troy ounces.

Complete sterling silver tea & coffee service with tray by the Schofield Co. Baltimore Md. Circa 1910 in the grape & vine design with clusters of grapes & vine decoration adorning all of the pieces. The tea service consists of Teapot 12 inches in height , Coffeepot 14 inches in height, covered sugar bowl 9 & 1/2 inches in height 5 & 7/8 inches in height, waste bowl 5 & 7/8 inches in height & matching oval twin handled tray / waiter measuring 26 inches by 18 inches. The service is in excellent condition bearing hallmarks of Schofield as shown. The service weighs 212 troy ounces. History of the Schofield Company:  Frank M. Schofield was born in 1873 in Providence RI. He apprenticed and worked at the Gorham Mfg. Co. for 8 years. Frank Schofield arrived in Baltimore in June 1899. Frank M. Schofield’s great, great grandfather John Schofield had been an English Silversmith in London in the years 1740-1772. In 1871, Frank’s parents Allen and Ann (nee Bradley) came to the United States from England, and settled in Providence RI.

Pair of Victorian sterling silver monteith bowls. One marked with Walter & John Barbard, London, 1895; One marked with Goldsmiths & Silversmiths co., 1908. Shaped circular on gadrooned  foot with fluted body. The hinged handles with lion's-head and an oval vacant cartouche to the front and reverse sides, with a scale and scroll surround each side of the body. Each marked on body and under base. Measuring 7 1/4 inches X 10 inches.  Weighing 73 Troy oz.

Antique Art Nouveau Silver Fruit Basket Germany

Antique art nouveau silver fruit basket with cut glass liner Germany 800 Silver Jugendstil. The glass is decorated with unique natural motif,  in a very good condition.   The silver basket is on a four figural geometric footed base.  The silver is ornate with fine daisy flowers and leaves and is heavyweight. The maker marks are engraved on one of figural feet. A rare and exquisite piece for the table.  The glass liner measuring is 15 inches long, the silver measuring is 21 and 1/2 inches in  length and 10 inches in height.
