Set of four George III Sterling Silver Covered Entree Dishes WM. Frisbee

Wonderful set of four George III sterling silver covered entree dishes by illustrious London silversmith William Frisbee London, Circa 1809 with gadroon border with rounded rectangular form topped with heraldic finials. The set of four weigh 200 troy oz., measuring 12x9 inches and 6 inches in height to top of finial. About Wm. Frisbee: William Frisbee Son of John Frisbee of the Old Bailey Citizen and Tallow Chandler of London, apprenticed to John Crouch of Giltspur Street London Goldsmith on payment of £10 5 October 1774. Free, 6 February 1782. Mark entered as plateworker, in partnership with John Edwards, 12 April 1791. Address: 48 Jewin Street. Second mark alone, 11 January 1792. Address: 51 Cock Lane, Snowhill. Third mark, in partnership with Paul Storr, 2 May 1792. Address: 5 (?51) Cock Lane. Fourth mark alone, 23 June 1798. (Storr had entered his own seperate mark, January 1793, so that Frisbee's activities between that date and his 1798 mark remained conjectural. Was he still perhaps working with Storr?). Fifth mark, 2 June 1801. Address: Inner Court, Bridewell Hospital. Livery, October 1806. Sixth mark, in partnership with his son John, 10 September 1811. Address: Bridewell Hospital. Seventh similar mark, 11 May 1814. Three of his sons were apprenticed to their father: the first John, 6 March 1799, when William Frisbee is 'Of Cow Lane London' the second son William, 1 October 1806, and the third Daniel Luffman, 4 January 1809.

The service consists of coin silver two handled with rams samovar by RW Wilson with Chinese character finial with fantastic heating element & fully repousse measuring 19 Inches in height & weighing 83 troy ounces with matching large coffee pot covered sugar bowl, cream pitcher, waste bowl & large two handled Gorham sterling silver tray. The service is in excellent condition with wonderful detail & definition to the chasing. The service with the tray weighs 310 troy ounces.

Impressive American coin silver covered tureen, by John & James Cox New York, circa 1840, floral-and-leaf handle supported by bed of acanthus leaves on domed oblong cover, resting on pedestal fitted with original fully marked coin silver liner with well flanked by acanthus-laden handles and centering vacant wreath cartouche; tureen and liner marked with maker's punch: J & I Cox. 14 inches in height, 15 and 1/2 inches in length, and 10 and 3/4 inches in width, and weighing 135 troy ounces.

Set of sterling silver flatware in the William and Mary / Charles II pattern by CJ Vander Set consists of: 12 dinner forks 7 and 5/8 inches, 12 dinner knives 9 and 3/4 inches, 12 salad forks 6 and 1/2 inches, 12 fish forks 6 and 1/2 inches, 12 dessert spoons 7 inches, 24 tea spoons 5 and 1/2 inches, 1 table serving spoon 8 and 3/4 inches, 1 cold meat fork 8 and 1/2 inches, 1 sugar spoon 5 and 5/8 inches, 1 pie server 9 and 5/8 inches, 1 butter serving knife 5 and 1/2 inches. This delicate pattern is a combination of the Trefid pattern and the Lace Back pattern. Both patterns were very much in vogue about 1680. The fine lace design is continued on the back of the spoon bowls, and the back of the prongs. This pattern is made by C.J. Vander of London. This service retails for approximately $40,000.

Set of four vintage Tiffany sterling silver bud vases & rose bud vermiel. This is a beautiful set of  vases, each one has a flower and leaves. The flowers showing their natural process since the flower begins a cocoon to open until the flower is completely open. Antique Tiffany Co. makers sterling silver bud vase are fully marked. It measures oscillate according with the flowers height. Sterling gilt, two of the vases are ornate with three incised lines around the neck, the other two are simple. The weight is 40 gross t oz. Maker mark under the base, 20th Century.

Shreve Crump and Low sterling silver gravy boat. Circa 1960 or before. The gravy boat rests on tripod feet and features a C-scroll design pattern. Bottom marked with "Shreve, Crump, & Low Co." hallmark and "sterling" mark.  A beautiful gravy boat with rim, scrolling foliate handle, and shell-form feet. In good condition.
